March 31 Mindset: Close the Year With Process, Not Predictions

Year-end reviews often become prediction exercises: what will markets do next year? A better review is a process exercise: did your portfolio behave as expected, and did your products fit their roles?

Look at alignment across AIF, PMS, and SIF exposures. Check whether liquidity was sufficient, whether risk felt tolerable, and whether reporting and communication were clean. These are controllable variables, unlike market direction.

When you close the year with process, you start the next year with confidence. Confidence built on process is stable. Confidence built on prediction is fragile.

Truvest Insight: Process is the only edge you can actually own.
