PMS: Portfolio Review Should Go Beyond Returns

A PMS review should not focus only on performance numbers. A better review also checks whether the strategy remains aligned with the mandate, style, and risk discipline.

Returns matter, but they are only one part of the discussion. Investors should also review concentration, sector exposure, portfolio changes, drawdown behaviour, and consistency with the stated approach.

This helps investors judge the portfolio more fairly and avoid reacting only to short-term outcomes.

Truvest Insight: Good reviews study both performance and process.
